9INE have secured their spot at the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown Europe following their 2-0 victory against Into the Breach. The Polish squad punched their ticket to this year's second edition of BLAST's qualifying bracket, returning after their appearance at the Spring Showdown.
The Piotr "?nawrot?" Nawrocki-coached lineup cruised through the group phase with a victory over GenOne before sweeping Looking4Org's Frenchmen in the first playoffs round, claiming their spot in the final.
This qualifier was Into the Breach's first outing with their new lineup featuring Alexey "?Qikert?" Golubev as the in-game leader. The European mix started off slow with a loss to GenOne, but recovered against the likes of Endpoint and Sprout to reach the final.

9INE 12Ancient 16 14Vertigo 16 fnatic were the biggest surprise in the online event. They came in as the highest-ranked team, but failed to get out of the group stage following two 14-16 losses against Sprout and ALTERNATE aTTaX, finishing at the bottom of Group A. Endpoint also failed to progress, partially due to a scheduling conflict on Saturday that led them to forfeit their match against 9INE.
BLAST Premier Fall Showdown will go live between October 4-8, and will host eight teams in a notoriously unforgiving single-elimination bracket. 9INE will compete against the likes of G2, ENCE, and BIG in the online event, looking to go all the way and secure a spot at the $425,000 BLAST Fall Final.
