This is according to Bloomberg, whose source claim the new laptop will replace the 15-inch MacBook Pro line. It will have a higher-resolution 16-inch screen, a more reliable keyboard, and louder speakers.
The price for the 16-inch MacBook Pro will remain roughly in line with the pricing for the current, 15-inch models, meaning $2,399 and up.

When he first broke the news of a 16-inch MacBook Pro, Kuo also hinted at an "all-new" design, but there's no word about anything like that in this new report. Still, a 16-inch MacBook Pro would be a big change for Apple's lineup of "pro" laptops. The company had been selling a 17-inch Pro until it was discontinued in 2012, and the lineup consisted of a 13-inch and a 15-inch model since then.

Apple had been promising the new Mac Pro will come in 2019; a December launch would mean cutting it really close to the deadline.
