The malignant lumps were found when she was treated for fractured ribs in November. According to a statement from the Supreme Court, there was "no evidence of disease elsewhere in the body" after surgery.

UPDATE: Dec. 21, 2018, 1:20 p.m. PST Ginsburg, meanwhile, has continued her hustle: The recovering justice voted from her hospital bedagainst Trump's ban on asylum seekers. According to NBC, the Supreme Court ruled 5-4 in favor of a lower court's ruling to stop enforcing the policy.
