
SANTA MONICA —?“The Waiting Room,” a drama written and directed by Ergo, is? having its world premiere at the Santa Monica Playhouse Main Stage, 1211 4thSt. in Santa Monica.
During a heavy rainstorm, a young man (Hiro Matsunaga) who has lost his way finally comes upon a home. A mysterious male resident (Yutaka Takeuchi) welcomes him in. The man hands to the young man a book. In the book is the forgotten tale of the legend of humans. In the man’s hand is another book containing the story of the young man’s life until the moment he had arrived to this place. After reading, the young man realizes why he was led here.
Final performances are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 22, 23, and 24, at 7:30 p.m.
