The pelakon lucah perempuan jepunfamily of Hannah Kobayashi, who was last seen in Los Angeles, is seeking the public’s help in locating her.
The 31-year-old from Maui was seen in CCTV footage getting off her plane at LAX on Nov. 8 at 10:03 p.m. She missed her connecting flight to New York City and was communicating with her family while trying to secure another flight.
Kobayashi was then seen on Nov. 10 at a Lebron James event at The Grove.
After that, strange messages were sent to family and friends from her cell phone about having her identity and money stolen, according to KHON. Her family questions whether the messages were actually from her.
Her sister, Sydni Kobayashi, described the messages as “cryptic … It just was not her.”
The last phone ping was on Nov. 11 at 4 p.m. at LAX. She has not been seen or heard from since.
Her mother, Brandi Yee, said, “We know her phone’s off because it goes straight to voicemail. We’ve been trying to call and call and call, text. None of the texts are getting delivered.”
Kobayashi is described as a Caucasian/Okinawan woman standing 5’10” and weighing 140 pounds, with light brown eyes and dark brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, tie-dyed romper, black headphones and black backpack.
Family members, including her father, Ryan Kobayashi, have arrived in Los Angeles to join the search.
A missing persons case was filed with the LAPD on Nov. 13 and the family has also contacted Maui police and the FBI. Anyone who locates her or knows of her whereabouts is asked to call the LAPD Missing Persons Unit at (877) 527-3247 or call the LAX Police Department at (310) 646-4268.
